InFiRe- a tool for computationally identifying insertion sites

InFiRe is a software tool developed by Shevchuk et al. to computationally identify insertions caused by transposon mutagenesis. You can use the software by visiting www.infire.tu-bs.de site.It is freely available there. You can select any genome out of the 1476 genomes .The replicon can be added by clicking on the add button. After that you can upload your genome file and select from the 12 common transposons given in their database. After that enter the digestion parameters and you can know the insertion sites. For more you can use the help section of the website it is really useful.
