Evolutionary relationships have been long studied using various phylogenetics tools like PHYLLIP. Nowadays, TNT is widely being used to work out these relationships. The program has few drawbacks. The very functioning of the program is non standard and it uses certain conventions which are not universal. The C interpreter has been incorporated in TNT to overcome all these problems.
Goloboff P.A. et. al.(2020) have developed functions and libraries which can be used for making alterations in phylogenetic trees and data. This has greatly enhanced the working of TNT. The TNT program with included C interpreter can be downloaded from the following website http://www.lillo.org.ar/phylogeny/tnt
