A lot of work is being done based on structure and sequence alignments. The information on sequence alignments as well as structure alignments has proved to be very informative. Carpentier M. (2019) in their recent studies have compared results of structural alignments with Sequence alignments and have found that structure based alignments have given more informative results as compared to sequence alignments.
