Ribosketch: A tool for predicting multiple stranded RNA and DNA structures

Prediction of secondary structures of both DNA and RNA molecules have been of utmost importance in the field of expression biology. Gene Expression is greatly influenced by the type of secondary structure that RNA assumes. The availabilty of mRNA for the polymerase to bind is affected by the type of  stem and loop structure the RNA assumes.

Recently, Jacob S.L. et al. (2018) have developed a software to predict the secondary structure of multistranded DNA and RNA. Their software, Ribosketch can make publication compliant structures of various RNA and DNA molecules having enormous complexity and size. The program is based on JAVA and can run on web browser.

Ribosketch is available on the following website https://rnastructure.cancer.gov/ribosketch
