Plasmid genome construction can be done from bacterial genome using PLACNETw

Plasmid genome reconstruction can be done from next generation sequencing data using a graph based tool set called PLACNET. Graphs have to be manually cured which is not possible if a person does not have a solid bioinformatics background. PLACNETw is a web based application that provides a graphical user interface. It can automate BLAST searches and can extract information for decision making.

It can help in visualization of scaffold graph and related contig information. After curation of graphs each plasmid becomes a sub graph. Results of the  analysis are downloadable. PLACNETw is available at the following URL:https://castillo.dicom.unican.es/upload/
