Genome analysis involves a lot of use of tools like Genome Browsers. Present day browsers are designed to give interactive view of various genomic data. These browsers help in visualisation of genomic data and are difficult to configure for the bioinformaticians who lack the knowledge of web development.
Hershberg E. A. et. al. (2021) in their recent work have developed an R package which provides a user friendly interface to the JBrowse 2 browser. The browser can be configured entirely with the R code.
The new JBrowseR can be downloaded from CRAN, and the source code is available at the following Github URL: https://github.com/GMOD/JBrowseR/.
